Freight 2009

Freight 2009 is a joint initiative between the Victorian Transport Association and the VACC.  A program of events has been developed around a number of themes that will showcase the freight industry in this state and nationally.  Of particular importance to users of this site will be the People Day set down for Monday 7 September 2009.  This day starts a week long series of events to be held at the Melbourne Tennis Centre.  The People Day will be of particular value for Career Practitioners and those involved in the secondary school sector with providing advice to young people about exciting careers in this industry.

The afternoon has been given over to the new Workforce Relations legislation with key speakers from industry and government.
