Project overview
This project supports rural learners in the transport industry who must to be compliant with controlling safety risks when transporting dangerous goods.
TDT Victoria, through RTO partners are providing training to learners on a mobile platform for initial study in the workplace, followed by video discussions with an industry expert.
Learners access the AARNet network at Monash University’s Bendigo campus and our expert is located in Melbourne at another AARNET location.
The learners will undertake assessment based on the initial learning and video discussion, and submit to our trainer and industry expert for evalutation
As the responses are assessed another interactive video conference is planned to review the learners’ understanding of the topic based on responses to their assessments.
The resulting videos are to become part of a library managed by TDT Victoria for future learners.
