Change of staff at TDT Victoria

TDT Victoria welcomes Emma Robilliard into the position of Project Manager. Emma completed a business degree at La Trobe Uni in 2003, studying at both Melbourne and Mt Buller. Since completion, she has worked in both New South Wales and Victoria in the tourism industry.

Emma has previously worked within an ITAB and comes to TDT with experience in project management.

Emma has taken over the role following the departure of Kerri Langes in June to pursue a new career opportunity. TDT wish Kerri all the best in her future endeavours.

LLDCN Education & Training Award

TDT Victoria entered the Lloyds List DCN Australian Shipping and Transport Awards and was proud to be awarded Runner Up in this category.

TDT Victoria showcased its Career and Course Guide for Victoria together with The Right Move geography website. 

Cadetship wins Australian Freight Industry Award

TDT Victoria is the proud recipient of the Australian Freight Industry Award for Promotion and Careers.

The Victorian Transport Association (VTA) hosted the 20th Annual Australian Freight Industry Awards on Saturday 3rd October 2009.  Over 1100 guests attended the spectacular, sold out event, held at the new Melbourne Convention Centre Plenary Hall.

The Right Move - Geography of Logistics and Supply Chains

The Right Move – Geography of Logistics & Supply Chains is an exciting new online resource for Years Seven and Eight (VELS Geography - Level 5). It could also be used in Geography at higher year levels and in teaching commerce and topics related to careers.

Developed by TDT Victoria, this website is designed to engage students in the investigation of the often complex global networks that are responsible for delivering many of the products we use every day.

Freight 2009

Freight 2009 is a joint initiative between the Victorian Transport Association and the VACC.  A program of events has been developed around a number of themes that will showcase the freight industry in this state and nationally.  Of particular importance to users of this site will be the People Day set down for Monday 7 September 2009.  This day starts a week long series of events to be held at the Melbourne Tennis Centre.
